Orvieto Musica Tuba Euphonium Fest
June 23-29, 2024
Dan serves as the Assistant Director of the inaugural year with Director, Velvet Brown, and guest faculty John Manning and Luka Einfalt!

IWBC Japan
August 14-18, 2024
Dan will chair the Queer Brass panel discussion about LGBTQ issues in the brass world. He will also serve as a competition judge and perform in a group recital. Dan serves on the Board of Directors of the IWBC. -
Falcone 2024
Summer 2024
Dan served as a preliminary round judge for the Falcone Competition and had a great time hearing all of the talented performers. Dan went to Blue Lake and served on its faculty. So, this was a great way to give back.

ITEA DEIB Listening Tour
Spring/Summer 2024
Dan organized the ITEA Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee’s Listening Tour at all six regional tuba euphonium conferences. Thanks to all of the panelists and conference hosts to make this possible. Dan serves on the Board of Directors of the ITEA.
